I received a phone call this morning notifying me that the server has been delivered and is sitting in a rather large box in the office. I will pick it up over the weekend and get to work on it — expect a post here when I have more details.

YEAH!!! That is great news. At least now you can find out what is wrong with it.
Also, considering I lost my job last month because I was playing CSFBL at work, I am excited to see it may actually come back sometime.

Yep, it was 3 weeks ago. It wouldn’t be as bad if CSFBL was not offline. I could have actually put some time into the game and maybe improved my teams a bit. Oh well. This just allows me more time to look for another job.

Lots of companies monitor internet usage and can fire you for using company computers to visit sites not work related. Unfortunately unless you work for a baseball team, very few companies consider the CSFBL work related. I hope everyone is careful…unless you know for certain you won’t get in trouble playing the CSFBL at work, do not visit the site…it isn’t worth losing your job over!

That sucks about getting fired man. Luckily my work allows you to visit those sites as long as you get your work done or I would have been fired a LONG time ago
