For those of you who use a RSS reader to keep track of your favorite web sites, you may want to add the feed for this blog to it. That way you can automatically be kept up-to-date as we add new posts to this blog.
The feed is: http://computersims.wordpress.com/feed/
Of course, old habits of typing in csfbl.com instead of waiting for your RSS reader to load will still work.
In the future, I suspect Brian will keep this blog around just in case the site goes down again. It is useful to have.
For those of you who want to try out RSS readers, try Google Reader. It is absolutely fantastic. I have 300 sites I keep track of using just Google Reader. It allows me to pass a little time too while the CSFBL is down.
And just in case you were wondering, no the site isn’t back up yet

heres a little food for thought, you guys will get a kick out of this…
the most simplistic cipher and most commonly used way to decode a message, is called the Caesar Cipher (aka Shift Cipher)… the way this encription works, is that each letter in the message is replaced by a letter a fixed number of locations away…
for example… with a shift of 1, an “A” would be replaced by a “B”, the letter “G” with the letter “H”, and so on and so forth…
*so if you were trying to encript the message “Hello”… it would look like “Ifmmp”
so what does this have to do w/ anything… well simple…
If you take the most simple and common cipher (the Shift Cipher described above), with the most simple shift, a shift of 1, I found something very interesting…
If “CSFBL” were to not really stand for Computer Simulated Fantasy Baseball League… but rather Brian was trying to encript a message… what would it be?
Everyone please figure out what message Brian is hiding… its funny

Try the other way benny. It makes a little bit more sense that way.
Pretty clever Bill. Pretty clever. I’m wondering why you spent time figuring that out, but that’s pretty good.

ok… my first message was kind of confusing….
dont use the cipher code on “CSFBL”… “CSFBL” is the message as it is already coded…
so reverse cipher “CSFBL” to get the original message…
you guys get it now
